What: Project Assistant – Walking Football

Purpose of the post
The purpose of this post is to provide occasional support with Alzheimer Scotland’s Hampden Heroes walking football project as they arise.
Primarily helping promote the event through social media, contacting potential stakeholders, programming of events and helping on the day.
Main duties and responsibilities
- To help manage Facebook and Twitter accounts
- Deal with enquires and organisation of the event
- Supporting people with dementia on the day of the event
- Attend a one day induction and any other training as deemed necessary
Accountability and support
This is a voluntary role and support will be provided by staff of Alzheimer Scotland as required.
Pattern of hours
Voluntary position with times as mutually agreed.
