Student Health

Sometimes students can forget to look after themselves!

Mental Health & Wellbeing

The Student Union is committed to supporting the mental health & wellbeing of students & staff. We're aiming to increase the awareness of the services available to supporting students & staff; properly inform students & staff about the symptoms & misconceptions of ill mental health; as well as promoting ways we can all improve our mental health through making small changes in our everyday lives.

If you have questions, concerns or want to find out more information about mental health students are free to use the university's free & confidential Counselling service as well as Your Union's Advice Centre. Both are available to support students' emotional wellbeing & development throughout their time at university.

Sexual Health

To collect free condoms just pop into Your Union on your campus - Level 4 on Paisley, Caseworkers Office in Lanarkshire & Ayr. You shouldn't need an appointment to do it!

To collect any free condoms outside of your Students Union or University campus, you can find your nearest sexual health clinic or condom distributor here, or if you live in Ayr here & Dumfries here.

Registering with a Doctor

It's important for all students to be registered with a GP near to where you are living. You can find your nearest GP's surgery here. You can also find local dentist, pharmacies and other clinics.
